Abstract

In order to find happiness in this life and the next, one must work hard. Because great performance will also result from strong work ethics. Islam exhorts its adherents to use all available time and space with exclusively worthwhile pursuits. Work is any dynamic activity that aims to meet demands (physical or spiritual) and is carried out with sincerity to attain these goals in order to function at its best. The purpose of this study is to learn how the Islamic work ethic is being used at BSM KC. Banyuwangi and to determine how the Islamic work ethic has helped the company's employees perform better. The study's findings support the mechanism of the Islamic work ethic in BSM KC. Banyuwangi is implemented utilizing a structural method, a cultural approach, as well as tools for rewards and punishment, and it begins with the hiring of new employees. Improvements in employee time management and discipline, attitudes toward colleagues during performance-related activities, friendliness toward everyone, including coworkers and customers, and the emergence of encouragement for employees to keep improving their work outcomes are all signs that the Islamic work ethic is having an impact on employee performance. In keeping with the aforementioned conclusion, BSM KC ought to ensure that the adoption of the Islamic work ethic goes smoothly. Banyuwangi promotes the Islamic work ethic more by using imagery with Islamic undertones and holding education and training sessions so that each employee has a strong understanding of it and can use it as motivation for their job.
