Abstract

This paper introduces the history of honeypot technology and itsclassification according to different criterions, and then gives thedesign principles of honeypot. The building principles of applicationand investigation honeypots are explained and a typical honeypot - DTKis given. Finally, this paper discusses the developing trends ofhoneypot technology.
