Abstract
Introduction: This research aims to examine and analyze organizational behavior at UNINGRAT by exploring the role of visionary leadership, work motivation, and work culture on the performance of educational staff at UNINGRAT by mediating the role of work commitment. This research is explanatory research with a quantitative descriptive approach and survey methods. The survey method was used to obtain answers from respondents in this research, namely UNINGRAT educational staff using non-probability sampling techniques through purposive sampling, which then obtained 145 data. After the data was collected, the data was then analyzed using the Structural Equation Model (SEM) with the AMOS analysis tool. The results revealed that of the 10 hypotheses, 3 hypotheses were rejected and 7 hypotheses were accepted. Objective: To test, analyze and determine the influence of visionary leadership style, motivation, work culture, work commitment, on work commitment at UNINGRAT Tual. Theoretical Framework: The grand theory underlying this research is the general theory of organizational behavior proposed by Robbins and Judge. Organizational behavior is defined as the understanding, prediction, and management of human behavior in organizations. Method: This research is research that explains the causal relationship between variables or what is called explanatory research, namely research to determine and explain the influence between existing variables and followed by hypothesis testing. Apart from that, this research is included in descriptive research, because it provides a descriptive explanation of the variables to be studied. Results and Discussion: This research shows that visionary leadership and work motivation have a significant influence on the work commitment of education staff at UNINGRAT Tual. Visionary leadership, which is able to articulate the university's vision clearly and inspiringly, as well as high work motivation, can increase their work commitment. Research Implications: The research findings are expected to provide theoretical and practical benefits. The theoretical benefits of an academic nature are expected to be able to sharpen and expand the concepts discussed in this research, while the practical benefits are aimed at improving the practice of human resource management activities, especially regarding visionary leadership style, work motivation and work culture towards performance and moderated by work commitment. at UNINGRAT Tual. Originality/Value: Future researchers are advised to consider the position of work culture variables as mediating variables. This is because, considering the results. What was found in research shows a fairly large and significant direct influence between work culture variables on employee performance.
