Abstract

The agroecosystem concept involves multiple levels of organization: an individual organism, a population (groups of similar organisms), communities (groups of different organisms), and an ecosystem, which links the abiotic factors of an environment and the communities of populations and organisms that occur in a specific area (Gliessman, 1998).
