Combustion synthesis of alloys

Abstract

Recently, several groups of alloys have been produced by combustion synthesis. Combustion synthesis of alloys would be an interesting research subject. In this chapter, we will introduce the novel routes to novel materials on combustion synthesis of alloys, containing reactive route design idea, synthesis process, microstructures and properties of the as-prepared alloys. © 2010 Bentham Science Publishers Ltd.
