Abstract

We report three recent cases of measles in travelers to a popular vacation resort, Phuket, Thailand, two initially diagnosed clinically as dengue, one as drug reaction. In countries with no indigenous measles, clinicians may no longer recognize the disease. When left misdiagnosed, the patients continue to be potential transmitters. © 2012 International Society of Travel Medicine.
