Abstract

Quantum antiferromagnetic Heisenberg model on the triangular lattice has been studied by the ‘Decoupled Cell Method (DCM)’ Monte Carlo simulation. The internal energy, the mean square magnetization, the spin-spin correlation functions and the spin autocorrelation function are calculated. The results show that there exists a sublattice structure composed of three sublattices. However, the detailed studies of autocorrelation function indicate that the sublattice structure is short ranged in its temporal behaviour through temperature range of the present study.
