Abstract
The research investigates the incentives for college students' willingness to start a business. Develop a model that shows the primary sources of college students' entrepreneurial intentions and the links between sources. 244 college students across China are investigated. Innovation and entrepreneurship courses in school, teachers' support, and familiarity with a social entrepreneurial policy are three significant sources to help and enhance students' entrepreneurial intentions. Among the three sources, familiarity with society's incentive policies for innovation and entrepreneurship has the most significant impact. Besides, there is a substantial difference in the entrepreneurial intention among different educational levels. The higher the academic degrees, the stronger the influence of entrepreneurship policy on them, and the stronger the intention of students to start their businesses. Meanwhile, students' desire to innovate and entrepreneurship increased in the post-pandemic era compared to before the pandemic.
