Abstract

Not only in the private sector (private), a government agency (public sector) is also known as inventory management to support the operations of these government agencies. As we know, a government agency does not recognize profit / loss. However, in relation to the management of inventory goods in a government agency it also needs to be managed properly, in order to get optimal results and reduce operational costs. So far, in many Government Agencies, whose spending is financed from the APBN, there is no definite standard for the management of these supplies. In this study will show the algorithm used in the Agency Level Financial Application System (SAKTI) software developed by the Directorate General of Treasury, Ministry of Finance, namely the FIFO inventory assessment method to achieve optimal management of new inventories.
