Abstract

This summary of biological information of Plantago major L. (broad-leaved plantain) and P. rugelii Decne. (Rugel’s plantain) is part of a series on the biology of Canadian weeds. P. major is a weed of disturbed habitats throughout Canada whereas P. rugelii is restricted to similar habitats in eastern Canada.
