Abstract

The positive attitude of health professionals towards interprofessional collaboration (IPC) is the basis for the successful implementation of IPC. Collaboration between doctors and nurses means collaboration in the profession, giving responsibility for solving problems and making decisions to formulate and carry out patient care concepts. This study aimed to determine attitudes toward interprofessional collaboration between doctors and nurses. The method used is scoping review using four databases PubMed, ScienceDirect, ProQuest, and the Google Scholar search engine. Search results that meet the criteria are then analyzed using the PRISMA Flowchart, data extraction, and theme mapping. The results of the study of 132 articles related to titles and abstracts, 12 articles met the inclusion criteria and were excluded. Four categories were found in attitude: bad attitude, positive attitude, dissatisfaction, and very satisfied. Greater emphasis on IPC education in basic training of doctors and nurses, as well as advanced training of doctors, could help improve attitudes further, so exploring other factors that influence IPC, such as resources, organizational structure, and individual capacity to collaborate is worthwhile
