Efectividad del aprendizaje significativo en la retención y transferencia de conocimientos

Abstract

La limitada aplicación de estrategias de aprendizaje significativo en contextos educativos impide consolidar aprendizajes duraderos y funcionales. El hecho genera brechas entre la teoría aprendida y su utilización práctica en nuevas situaciones, y afecta la calidad del aprendizaje. El presente estudio analiza la efectividad del aprendizaje significativo en la retención y transferencia de conocimientos en contextos educativos. Para ello, se utilizó un enfoque cualitativo con diseño descriptivo-analítico, que permitió evaluar la efectividad del aprendizaje significativo en la retención y transferencia de conocimientos a través de la revisión y análisis de fuentes, identificando los factores cognitivos, pedagógicos y contextuales involucrados. Los resultados evidenciaron que el aprendizaje significativo favorece la retención y transferencia de conocimientos al integrar saberes previos con nuevos contenidos, combinando factores cognitivos y pedagógicos, y permitiendo que el aprendizaje sea duradero, reflexivo y aplicable en distintos contextos.The limited application of meaningful learning strategies in educational contexts impedes the consolidation of lasting and functional learning. This creates gaps between the theory learned and its practical application in new situations, affecting the quality of learning. The present study aimed to analyze the effectiveness of meaningful learning in knowledge retention and transfer in educational contexts. To this end, a qualitative approach with a descriptive-analytical design was used, which allowed us to evaluate the effectiveness of meaningful learning in knowledge retention and transfer through the review and analysis of sources, identifying the cognitive, pedagogical, and contextual factors involved. The results showed that meaningful learning favors knowledge retention and transfer by integrating prior knowledge with new content, combining cognitive and pedagogical factors, and allowing learning to be lasting, reflective, and applicable in different contexts.
