The study on Mathematics of senior high school is essential to conduct since it will be the product before the students become the teacher in senior high level. This is a qualitative research since the researcher conducted investigation by using face to face method with the objects of the research. The purpose of this research is to identify error and its categorization on solving the problem of Vector in the mathematic course in senior high level based on Polya. In revealing and identifying the students’ error and types of error, three students were taken as the subjects of research, then they would be interviewed to gain data in detail. The benefit of this research is that the further research can be managed to overcome the problems. The subjects which were taken were based on the variety of error types on 5 essays. The data analysis consists of instrument testing, data reducing and conclusion drawing. Based on the data analysis, the most frequent error was on miscalculating at around of 59%, data miss-used at around 39,6%, Concept miss-interpretation at around 33%, language miss-interpreted at around 19,8%, and miss-draw the conclusion at around 46,2%. The result can be used as an additional material for future research, especially on the analysis of the causal of mathematical calculation because in this part, it gives the biggest error.
