Abstract
Chemical investigation of the sponge Coscinoderma mathewsi collected near Mooloolaba, S.E. Queensland, has led to the isolation of the furanoterpene esters 1a - 1c together with the known furanoterpenes 2 - 4. NMR spectroscopic assignments are provided for the esters, while GC/MS analysis of FAME derivatives 5a - 5c confirmed the identity of the fatty acid components. ©ARKAT-USA, Inc.
