Contributions of Project - Based Learning in EFL Writing Classes

Abstract

The aim of this investigation was to determine whether there were challenges and benefits of applying project-based learning (PjBL) in teaching English. Another aim was to identify the students’ attitudes towards writing classes where project-based learning was implemented. Qualitative research method was used in order to collect information. Student reflection sheet, researcher’s field note, and weekly student reflection sheet were used, and descriptive analysis was carried out. The findings of this study showed that most of the learners had positive views about using PjBL in English writing classes. Keywords:
