Abstract

The article explores the mutually constitutive relationship between subjects and rights by analyzing some of the challenges, disputes and internal negotiations of the “LGBT collectivity”, also involving the activation of a multiplicity of social markers of difference. Invests in an analysis from the political strategies of the actors involved in discussions about the “LGBT rights”, inquiring into the way certain “rights” embody specific “identities” and vice-versa.
