Reviews the book, "Making a difference? Exploring the impact of multi-agency working on disabled children with complex health care needs, their families and the professionals who support them," by Ruth Townsley, David Abbott and Debby Wilson. In this book, the researchers have set out their findings from a research project looking at the process and impact of multi-agency working on disabled children with complex health needs, their families and the professionals who support them. The information was gathered initially through background policy and literature searches, a scoping exercise, visits to 26 services and case studies involving 6 services, 115 professionals, 25 families and 18 children or young people. The book is clearly set out in a document format with sub-headings and bullet points which emphasize the information presented. Throughout the text data are presented in table format and there are also many quotations from interviews with professionals, family members and children and young people.
