Governments, as major stakeholders in the tourism industry, can play a significant role in promoting the adoption of immersive technologies by providing financial support, creating a favorable regulatory environment, and investing in infrastructure. This study examines the current state of immersive technology integration in tourism and identifies key areas where government support is needed. By taking these steps, governments can help to accelerate the adoption of immersive technologies in tourism and unlock the full potential of these technologies to transform the industry, increase its sustainability and environmental friendliness in the modern conditions.
