Abstract
Synthetic micro/nanomotors are small devices at the micro/nanoscale fabricated by imitating the biological motors. Due to the distinguish advantages including good stability, simple preparation and mass production, micro/nanomotors have been a promising tool in precision medicine. In this review, we focus on utilizing the manipulation methods such as magnetic, electrochemical, acoustic, light to precisely control the direction and speed of micro/nanomotors, and detail the application of controlled micro/nanomotors in precision medicine including cargo transportations, targeted drug/proteins/nucleic delivery, cell and bacteria manipulation. The practical application potentials of precisely controlling micro/nanomotors are also discussed.
