Abstract
Reports of room-temperature organic ferromagnetism have faced widespread suspicion mostly because of shaky proposed mechanisms and transition-metal contamination. In this Chem issue, Wu and co-workers report a covalently linked organic radical framework in which the adjacent radicals interact to exhibit spontaneous magnetization at room temperature with the typical hysteresis of ferromagnets.
