Peran Literasi Digital Dalam Menyongsong Bonus Demografi Indonesia

Abstract

The demographic bonus is in sight. The number of workers will increase sharply, so it requires planned handling. Digital literacy is a must in facing the demographic bonus. The research aims to describe and understand the role of digital literacy in welcoming the demographic bonus and to find out what the younger generation is preparing to face the demographic bonus. The research uses qualitative methods. Data collection using observation, interviews and documentation. The interview instrument was validated by an infomatics expert. The number of respondents was 15 people consisting of 5 high school and vocational school graduates as well as company employees who live in Bekasi Regency. The research results show that digital literacy among SMA/K students and workers is not evenly distributed. This requires continuous efforts so that digital literacy can be improved. The role of digital literacy is very important in facing the demographic bonus, including preparing for the world of work and increasing the abilities of workers and creating peace in society
