Design analysis of semi-rigid frames. Evaluation and implementation

Abstract

The evaluation of the major assumptions, procedures, and proposed models associated with the simplified analysis procedure for unbraced flexible frames is presented. The highlights of this procedure, as well as numerical examples, are also discussed. The implementation of flexible frame analysis and design on personal computers is demonstrated.
