Abstract

This study aims to identify and explain how much influence the effect of self-efficacy, activity, independent learning and the ability to think logically to the learning outcomes of mathematics at Junior High School eighth grade students in the District of North Polongbangkeng Takalar. This research is an ex-post facto nature of causality. The population in this study is the Junior High School eighth grade students in the District of North Polongbangkeng KabupatenTakalar the school year 2014/2015. The study population 581 students and 172 students study sample taken using proportional random sampling. The instrument used consisted of self-efficacy questionnaire, questionnaire learning activities, questionnaires independent learning, logical thinking ability test and mathematics achievement test. Data were analyzed with descriptive statistics and inferential statistical analysis (path anlysis). The results showed that (1) Most of the Junior High School eighth grade students in the District of North Polongbangkeng have self-efficacy, learning activities, Learning Independence, ability to think logically and mathematics learning outcomes in the medium category.
