L'agroécologie, un nouveau rapport aux savoirs et à l'innovation

Abstract

Far from a simple merger between agronomy and ecology, agroecology is an innovative project, concerning simultaneously the fields of natural sciences, of economic and social sciences, politics and action. Agroecology encourages us to explore new fields of knowledge, at the interface of disciplines, on the agronomical impacts of biological regulations, as far as on the socioecological systems. Yet, it mainly urges us to change our ways of working: develop systemic approach, while giving up attractive simplifications such as "one problem, one input"; value local knowledge, while mixing it with scientific knowledge; open up innovation by positioning agriculture at the heart of territories and food systems; finally promote individual and collective learning, source of innovation and adaptation to local situations.
