Abstract

Stock prices are very important for companies because they are used to attract investors to invest. The purpose of this study is to find out whether earning per share, leverage, and financial distress affect stock prices. This research found 9 populations of transportasion companies from 49 companies listed on the Stock Exchange in 2019-2022 and have been selected based on specified criteria. Data analysis of this study used the SPSS method with a quntitative approach. The result of this study shows that there is an influence of earning per share and financial distress on stock prices. However, the share price at the leverage ratio has no effect. This research can be used by companies to improve perfomance so that stock prices increase so as attract investors to invest.
