Abstract

The development of information and communication technologies, especially the\rInternet, has led to drastic changes in all spheres of human life and work. Although\rsome of these changes have very positive effects, others are extremely negative. One\rexample of the latter is a new kind of terrorism and criminal activity which is based\ron the use of the non-indexed part of the Internet which is called dark Web. Generally\rpositive features such as access to information about Internet users, anonymity and\rprotection of personal data are used with the evil intention of acquiring illegal profit\rand spreading ethnic hatred and intolerance. This paper gives a brief overview of\rdocumented ways for accessing this part of web, and examples of abuses of its features.
