Abstract
A new kind of photostimulable phosphor-in-glass is developed as an efficient erasable–rewritable optical storage medium. As reported by Hang Lin, Yuansheng Wang, and co-workers in article number 1900006, data write-in/read-out is achieved by capturing/releasing electrons in traps, utilizing the ultraviolet/near-infrared laser irradiation.
