Abstract

The effect of lignosulfonate on viscosity of organic coal-water-fuel (OCWF) was investigated. Brown coal from "Borodinskoe" deposit, waste oil Motul 8100 X-Clean 5W-30-C3, distilled water and powdered lignosulfonate was used as raw materials for slurry preparation. OCWF viscosity were measured using a rotational viscometer BROOKFIELD DV-II + Pro EXTRA. Optimum lignosulfonate concentration was obtained (1.3-1.4%).
