Abstract

This study aims to develop an assessment to measure science process skills and to determine the feasibility of developing the assessment. Science with local wisdom material requires a special assessment in order to accurately measure learning outcomes based on indicators of learning success. Research and development was conducted for this study. The product in this research is an assessment of science process skills with 4D stages. The results of the assessment development to measure science process skills for Public Junior High School 15 Bengkulu City 8th grade were obtained from the validation of assessment experts 73.3%, material experts 89.28%, and linguists 89.28%. In a small-scale trial carried out on 8th grade students as many as 15 students. Meanwhile, large-scale trials were conducted with a sample of one class. The feasibility of a science assessment to measure students' science process skills based on expert validators. The results are qualified and based on the validity of the items declared valid and reliable so that they can be used to measure science process skills.
