Abstract

Some time ago the authors investigated a random-graph model for explaining the mechanics of flow through porous media. In the present paper this earlier approach is further extended; first, to the discussion of a three-dimensional random-graph model and second, to an investigation of lateral dispersion in porous media. Comparisons with experimental results are given. © 1969 Taylor & Francis Group, LLC.
