Abstract

The catalytic enantioselective electrophilic fluorination promoted by chiral nickel complexes is described. The treatment of α-chloro-β- keto esters with Selectfluor under mild reaction conditions afforded the corresponding fluorinated α-chloro-β-keto esters with excellent enantioselectivities (up to 99% ee). © 2010 WILEY-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co.
