Abstract

Sejak munculnya Covid-19 akhir 2019, berdampak pada berbagai aspek kehidupan seperti ekonomi, kesehatan, dan pendidikan. Sesuai arahan Presiden RI, pelaksanaan pembelajaran tatap muka pada satuan pendidikan pada wilayah PPKM level 1-3. Sementara wilayah PPKM level 4 tetap melaksanakan pembelajaran jarak jauh. Hal ini membuat mahasiswa mengalami peningkatan kecemasan sejak awal pandemi Covid-19. Sehingga mahasiswa harus mampuberadaptasi dengan mengembangkan koping yang optimal untuk meminimalkan kecemasan terhadap perubahan yang ada. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Hubungan mekanisme koping dengan tingkat kecemasan mahasiswa STIKes Al Insyirah Pekanbaru selama masa pandemic Covid-19. Jenis penelitian analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa aktif dengan jumlah sampel adalah 143 sampel, dengan metode total sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan data primer berdasarkan kuesioner baku yang disebar secara online berbentuk google form kepada responden. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mekanisme koping adaptif sebanyak 97 responden (67,8%), kecemasan ringan sebanyak 87 responden (60,8%). Hasil uji bivariat ada hubungan signifikan antara mekanime koping terhadap tingkat kecemasan mahasiswa STIKes Al Insyirah Pekanbaru selama masa pandemic Covid 19 dimana p-value < 0,05 yaitu 0,000. Hasil penelitian ini dapat dijadikan sebagai referensi untuk penelitian lanjutan dalam menghadapi kecemasan dan perilaku dimasa pandemi Covid 19 dan mahasiswa selalu mengembangkan perilaku koping adaptif untuk mengurangi kecemasan akibat pandemic.At the end of 2019, the world has been shocked by the emergence of the corona virus (Covid-19).  The emergence of outbreaks has an impact on various aspects of life such as the economy, health, and education. Direction of the President of the Republic of Indonesia, the implementation of face-to-face learning can be carried out in education units in the PPKM level 1-3 area. The PPKM level 4 area continues to carry out distance learning.  This has made students experience an increase in anxiety since the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic.So that students are able to adapt by developing optimal coping to minimize anxiety about change. The study aims to find out an overview of the coping mechanism for the level of anxiety of STIKes Al Inyirah Pekanbaru students during the Covid 19 pandemic.This type of research is analytic with a cross-sectional approach. Population in this study were active students with the number of samples being 143 sample by the total sampling method. Data collection techniques using primary data based on standard questionnaires are distributed online in the form of google forms to respondents. The results showed that adaptive coping mechanisms were 97 respondents (67.8 %), mild anxiety as many as 87 respondents (60.8 %). The results of the biavariat test have a significant relationship between coping mechanics and the level of anxiety of STIKes Al Insyirah Pekanbaru students during the Covid-19 pandemic where the p value < 0.05, which is 0.000. The results of this study can be used as a reference for further research in dealing with anxiety and behavior during the Covid-19 pandemic and students always develop adaptive coping behaviors to reduce anxiety due to the pandemic.
