Abstract

In order to find expressions for fitting equations that could be applied to any type of electrolyte phase diagram and easily extented from binary to ternary systems, we were led to proceed in two steps : first, find fitting equations for solubilities along convenient isoplethic sections of the diagram ; and second extend the calculation to isothermal sections. The model is applied to the calculation of solubilities in the ternary system NaCl-KCl-H2O. © 1990 De Gruyter
