Abstract
Highlights Design of amorphous-state LiNbO3-coated layers of varying thickness and uniformity. VGCF lowered resistivity and eliminated any unfavorable electrochemical behaviors. Thicker LiNbO3 coatings led to higher capacity retention rates. The thickest coating (15-25 nm) yielded a capacity retention rate of 93%. The charge-discharge behavior and interfacial stability of cells were improved.
