Abstract

We describe two patients in whom diamorphine was administered into the intraventricular space via an Ommaya reservoir, producing excellent pain relief. The use of this technique for long term administration of analgesia is reviewed. © 1990 Copyright: 1990 British Journal of Anaesthesia.
