Historia de la génesis de la Academia Olímpica Española. Contexto, herencia y consecuencias de su creación

Abstract

El trabajo que se presenta supone una investigación histórica de un periodo y circunstancia de la Historia del Tiempo Presente del Olimpismo: la génesis, creación y circunstancias de la creación de la primera Academia Olímpica Nacional, la española, a partir de la idea y las gestiones de Conrado Durántez Corral, su actual Presidente. Durántez Corral fue el representante español que formó parte de la primera Sesión de la Academia Olímpica Internacional en 1961. A partir de su idea e iniciativa llevó a cabo las gestiones oportunas para posibilitar su creación. Las circunstancias llevadas a cabo han sido recogidas y analizas en este trabajo. La perspectiva de la filosofía y la orientación con las que fue creada la Academia Olímpica Española fueron la base de su desarrollo y evolución y de las herencias que hoy el mundo olímpico disfruta en España y en toda Hispanoamérica.Palabras clave: Academia Olímpica Española, Conrado Durántez, Academia Olímpica Internacional. The work presented is a historical investigation of a period and circumstance of Present Time History of Olympism: the genesis, creation and circumstances of the creation of the first National Olympic Academy, the Spanish one, from the idea and the management of Conrado Durántez Corral, its current President. Durántez Corral was the Spanish representative who took part of the first Session of the International Olympic Academy in 1961. From his idea and initiative carried out the necessary steps to facilitate its creation. Circumstances have been collected and analyzed in this paper. The perspective of the philosophy and orientation which the Spanish Olympic Academy was created with, were the basis of its development, evolution and legacies that the Olympic world enjoys today in Spain and throughout Latin America.Key words: Spanish Olympic Academy, Conrado Durántez, International Olympic Academy
