Abstract

Pipeline damage can cause pipeline magnetic flux leakage. By analyzing the phenomenon of magnetic flux leakage, the integrity of the natural gas pipeline can be determined. In order to realize the detection of pipeline performance, this paper analyzes the principle of magnetic flux leakage detection technology, uses COMSOL simulation software to establish a metal pipeline simulation model, and compares the magnetic field distribution curves before and after the pipeline damage through ANSYS software. The simulation results show that the integrity of the pipeline can be effectively detected through the magnetic flux leakage detection and analysis.
