Abstract
Plasma insulin and growth hormone levels were measured during morning and afternoon oral glucose tolerance tests performed on 12 young men at three monthly intervals in the Antarctic. No diurnal or seasonal differences in growth hormone levels were found. However there were diurnal and seasonal variations in the blood glucose/plasma insulin relationship. © 1975 Springer-Verlag.
