Abstract

The artificial intelligence and generative artificial intelligence have revolutionized the way we interact with the world. This shift entails both risks to the protection of human rights and benefits if employed to improve access to healthcare, educational, and justice services, among others. Consequently, it is crucial to regulate the development of this technology preventively, rather than waiting for problems to arise before taking action. In other words, human rights and legal ethics must be comprehensively considered from the design phase of the algorithms that underpin this type of technology.
