Abstract

A survey of 320 Australian eleventh and twelfth graders showed that agricultural courses in ninth and tenth grades or attendance at schools with agriculture programs increased interest in agricultural careers. Compared with California high school students, Australian students had less negative attitudes toward agriculture and were more inclined to consider it as a career. (SK)
