ANTARA EMANSIPASI DAN PERAN GANDA PEREMPUAN (Analisa Fakta Sosial Terhadap Kasus Ketimpangan Gender)

Abstract

This research is a study of gender inequality where women work in two areas at once, namely public and domestic. Emancipation comes with the aim of respecting women for their unfulfilled rights but on the other hand, the emancipation that leads to women working in the public area does not completely change the social structure that requires women to work in the domestic area so that women must bear two jobs at once. This study aims to find out how gender inequality occurs in the era of emancipation, how feminism counseling is able to overcome the problem of gender inequality. This research is literature research from previous journals and from knowledge in the literature. This research resulted in gender inequality in the era of emancipation due to the fact that people who still held tight the notion that homework is the responsibility of women and the success of women depends on their ability to handle domestic work. Counseling feminism through projects (thoughts and movements) seeks to undermine cultural, artistic, church, legal, core families based on father and state power, as well as all images, institutions, customs and habits that make women as victims who are not respected and invisible.
