Abstract

A survey of the literature devoted to membranes based on polypyrroles issued from pyrrole or from its derivatives shows that their properties depend on their doped/undoped state and that they can be employed in sensors or separation devices. Some results are given in ion exchange properties and ETBE/ethanol separation by pervaporation.
