Abstract

The article presents the coordinate method of monitoring the cracks of buildings and engineering constructions. All the methods that are used according to regulatory documents were analyzed, and their advantages and drawbacks were described. The conditions of real measurement were simulated using a total station. The method of achieving accuracy increase was elaborated and mathematical analysis was made. The accuracy of this method was determined. Based on this analysis, it was concluded that surveying methods, among others, could be used to monitor cracks of buildings and engineering constructions.
