Abstract

The updated version of the paleointensity database will be included in the new package that should be released by Mike McElhinny in May 1998. The new version comprises 1692 data records from 115 references. The database tables are also available as ASCII and Excel files via an anonymous ftp site (ftp.dstu. univ‐montp2.fr, in the following directory: /pub/paleointdb).
