Abstract

The present work is to expose the experience of a method for the implementation of Criterion 6 Faculty at its point D Professional Development, related to Research and Events considered by ABET by professors do of the Professional School of Systems Engineering (EPIS) of the National University of San Agustín of Arequipa (UNSA), Arequipa-Peru. The objective is to apply the method in the accreditation process of the curriculum. The methodology is based on the generally accepted stages of the scientific method adapted to the problem dealt with; the contributions that arise and the feedback that is made serves for the continuous improvement of the process and with the possibility that can be extended by adaptation to other processes similar to that it gives rise. The results obtained show that the objective of having adequate records to have the vision and initial evaluation of professional development in the points covered is achieved, which is reflected in the replication and to make the results known and experiences of the professors to students in their vocational training in a complementary way. Concluding that applying an appropriate method to acquire and process the necessary data produces information for the accreditation process and for the continuous improvement of the curriculum processes.
