Abstract

Baggea pachyascus AUERSW. var. macrospora MAGNES, SCHEUER & SÖDERHOLM var. nova is described. It was found on ± decorticated twigs of Salix spec. in Finland and differs from var. pachyascus by the larger ascospores and fewer-spored asci.
