Abstract
A recent publication from The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists ("The Obstetrician-Gynecologist and Primary-Preventive Health Care," 1993) highlights the fact that ear, nose, throat, and upper respiratory tract infections are the leading cause of morbidity in all age groups of women. The purpose of this article is to review the etiology, clinical manifestations, diagnosis, and treatment of these common conditions. © 1994.
