Abstract

The N-cyano 2-(substituted amino)ethyl methyl sulfoximine derivatives are a new chemical family of neonicotinoids. Nine alkyl sulfoximine derivatives were designed and synthesized. The synthesized compounds were identified by 1H NMR, 13C NMR, IR, and elemental analysis. The preliminary bioassays indicated that some of them showed moderate insecticidal activities against Myzus persicae. The relationship between structure and biological activity was also discussed. © ARKAT USA, Inc.
