This is the protocol for a review and there is no abstract. The objectives are as follows: To investigate the effects of Wendan decoction and its modified formulae for treatment of people with schizophrenia or related disorders compared with placebo, antipsychotic drugs and other interventions for outcomes of clinical importance.
