Abstract

A new triterpenoid saponin, olean- 12-ene-3β, 19β, 24-triol-3-O-β-D-glucopyranoside, named sigmoiside F and a new triterpenoid, 3β-n-propyloxy-β-amyrin, were isolated from the methanolic extract of the stem bark of Erythrina sigmoidea. Their structures were characterized by chemical and spectral analysis. © 2008 Verlag der Zeitschrift für Naturforschung,.
